Dear Jane Austen,
This restaurant deserves a five star rating for all aspects of the charm. The artsy appeal and fresh food make this place extraordinary. The Ruth’s wrap is one of the finest dishes I have ever had the pleasure to eat. It is a perfect blend of goat cheese and dried cranberries that are complimented by the zest of the restaurant’s own blackberry vinaigrette.
Another reason to enjoy this cafe is the delightful beverages. Everything from crisp lemonade to a mug of hot coffee, all are made to perfection. What makes the restaurant’s shine among all others is the care each worker has for their restaurant and their customers. I am always greeted by the workers, and they know my family. This place is the small town restaurant with the greatest taste and heart.
So, I am a senior in college, and I have my last final tomorrow! Whew. It’s amazing how far I have come. I had an amazing internship at Albion Fellows Bacon Center, and I will proudly go there next semester as an intern again. I am having a great time as a social work student.
Another great opportunity that I currently have is a seasonal job at Target. Great way to start saving for Grad. school….
You guys. I found the pancakes of my dreams. Really. I’m in love. Like I want to marry this stack of flap jacks. Is that normal? No? You’re right. Fine. But these were like “take a bite – Mmmmmm out loud – do a happy dance like nobody’s watching” kind of delicious. They were light, fluffy, buttery, tart and just sweet enough. Even without syrup. But let’s talk about this syrup. Brown butter? Ever heard of it? It’s what fantasies are made of. It’s what spinach should be of. It’s what makes this maple syrup decadently amazing. But let’s not forget those cranberries! Those little ladies are the real star of this festive pancake syrup. They add a perfect balance of tartness to the already sweet maple syrup, and a gorgeous crimson color that is so inviting. Have I gushed enough? Are you convinced? Make these pancakes asap and be…

1. Have a signature drink that you both can make at home after a long day’s work, and order with effortless swag at any bar you happen to be in. (This means no complicated ingredients and easy substitutes. If it’s a whiskey soda, so be it.)
2. Keep all negative social media activities to a minimum, because no gentleman engages in things like Twitter fights or passive-aggressive Facebook statuses. It’s just not classy.

Finals? Hahahahaha! Please. I’ve still got an entire week left. Do you have any idea what I can accomplish in that short amount of time? Seriously, there’s nothing to worry about. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna’ go paint my nails like little zebras.
Okay, it’s not like I’m mad about finals or anything, but seriously? A comprehensive test? How unfair is that?! And it’s worth, like, 96 percent of my grade. I’m too mad to study. School is so stupid. No, everything is stupid. LET’S START A REVOLUTION!
I’m just gonna’ go over to Tiffany’s for a quick study session. I always do my best work in groups. Oh, and Jennifer, Michael and Josh will be there too, but we’re definitely gonna’ get stuff done. Definitely…
Okayokayokay. Two hours left until the test. I have four Redbulls in the fridge…
